Sonamarg (translation: "Meadow of Gold"), or Sonmarg, is a hill station in Ganderbal district in Jammu and Kashmir union territory, India. It will take us approximately 2 hours to reach and is 80 kilometres (50 mi) north-east of Srinagar. Sonmarg lies in the Kashmir Valley at an altitude of 2,730m and is close to some of the valley's tallest peaks, including Machoi Glacier, Sirbal Peak, Kolhoi Peak, Amarnath Peak and Machoi Peak. Combined with the alpine meadows that bloom in summer and rivers and lakes stocked with fish, this makes Sonmarg a popular tourist destination. You can expect beautiful bird eye views and landscapes. In Sonmarg you can also do water rafting in the Nilagrad River. Then after returning back from Sonmarg to Srinagar. The signtseeing in sonamarg is on direct payment basis which you have to pay. On the third day of Jewel Kashmir Group Tour, After breakfast get transferred to Doodhpathri. The name "doodpathri'' means Valley of Milk. It is said that the famous saint of Kashmir Sheikh ul Aalam Sheikh Noor din Noorani has prayed here and once when he was in search of water in the meadows,to offer prayers, he pricked the ground with his stick to search for water and milk came out. He asked the milk that you can only be used for drinking and not performing ablution.Hearing this milk at once changed its state to water and the meadow got its name Doodpathri.The water which is at present flowing through the meadows has a milky appearance from the distance and remains very cold throughout the year.The lush green grasses over the vast meadows and silver shining streams running over the large stones further increase its beauty. Doodhpathri is sloping grassy landscapes with a diversity of multicolored flowers up to Chang. The famous Tosamaidanlies in the west of Doodpathri. Doodhpathri lies in a bowl shaped valley in the Pir Panjal Range of the Himalayas, at an altitude of 2,730 m (8,957 ft) above sea level. It is an alpine valley covered with snow clad mountains and the meadows of Pine Fir and Deodar. On the fourth day of Jewel Kashmir Group Tour, After breakfast, check-out from hotel, we will take a road trip from Srinagar to Gulmarg. (230 Mtrs Above sea Level) (“Meadow of Flowers”) is a town, It will take us approximately 2 hours to reach and is 52 kilometres from Srinagar. Gulmarg is well-known for its beauty and activities. a hill station, a popular skiing destination during winters, If you are visiting in Winter then you can do a lot of "snow activities" also like skiing, snow tubing and snowboarding. Gulmarg is famous because of its “Gulmarg Gondola,” one of the highest cable cars in the world. (Direct Payment Basis). Dinner and overnight stay in Gulmarg.
On the fifth day of Jewel Kashmir Group Tour, After breakfast check-out from hotel and get transferred to Srinagar, then we have a tour of world famous Mughal Gardens i.e. Nishat Garden, Shalimar Garden, Botanical Garden, Cheshma Shahi. When the dusk falls, delight in a lovely Shikara ride on the placid Dal Lake. At the same time, enjoy the beauty of the sunset that adds to your romantic evening. On the sixth day of Jewel Kashmir Group Tour, After breakfast check-out from houseboat and get transferred to Pahalgam 2440 Mtrs above sea level (Vealley of Shepherds) on the way visit Safforn fields and Avantipora ruins. Pahalgam is the most famous place for Indian Film industry. Enjoy the nature charm of the valley, Pahalgam local sightseeing. Dinner and overnight stay in Pahalgam at Hotel.
On the seventh day of Jewel Kashmir Group Tour, Today explore the Betaab Valley, Chandanwari, Aru Valley ( on Direct Payment basis ) . Dinner and over night stay in pahalgam.
On the eighth day of Jewel Kashmir Group Tour, After breakfast check-out from hotel , Transfer in time (Arrive at Jammu ) to the connect onwards destination flight/Train. Departure with sweet memories of the trip.
